Using the Demo Data in Print Farm Manager

Print Farm Manager may include sample demo data when you first open the app. This demo data is included so you can explore the interface, test features, and understand how the app works before adding your own real inventory and production information.

Why Demo Data Is Included

A blank dashboard can make it difficult to understand what each section is designed to do. The demo data gives you a working example of filament inventory, print jobs, product tracking, and production insights.

We recommend clicking around, testing the screens, and getting comfortable with the workflow before entering your own information.

Before Adding Your Own Data

Once you are ready to start using Print Farm Manager for your real 3D printing workflow, you should reset the demo data first. This helps ensure your own filament, products, and production records start from a clean workspace.

How to Reset the Demo Data

1. Open Print Farm Manager.
2. Locate the Reset Data button inside the app.
3. Click Reset Data.
4. Confirm the reset if prompted.
5. Begin adding your own filament inventory, products, and print activity.

Important Note

Resetting data may remove the current sample records from the app. Only reset the data when you are ready to start fresh.

Spend a few minutes exploring the demo data first. Once the workflow makes sense, use the Reset Data button and begin setting up Print Farm Manager with your own real print farm information.
